What We Treat

Women’s Health

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can support women’s health at every stage of life, helping to regulate hormones, improve menstrual health, support fertility, and ease the transition through menopause. Treatment works to regulate cycles, reduce pain, improve fertility, support emotional well-being, and restore overall hormonal balance, often alongside Chinese herbal medicine for steady, lasting support.

We commonly treat dysmenorrhea (painful periods), irregular, heavy or light menstruation and amenorrhea, abnormal uterine bleeding, perimenopause symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts, and infertility.

Menstrual pain and PMS

Treatment can help regulate cycles, reduce cramps and painful periods, and ease PMS symptoms such as mood swings, bloating, and fatigue. We also support patients with endometriosis-related pain. Because stress and hormones are closely linked, this work often pairs well with our mental health and sleep care.

Perimenopause and menopause

Acupuncture and TCM can help manage perimenopause and menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, and sleep issues, gently supporting hormonal balance through the transition.

Acupuncture during pregnancy

Acupuncture during pregnancy is often used to help with nausea, back pain, fatigue, and preparing the body for labour. Treatments are gentle and tailored to each stage.

Fertility and IVF support

Acupuncture and TCM are widely used to support natural fertility and improve IVF and IUI success rates. Treatment focuses on regulating hormones, improving blood flow to the reproductive organs, and reducing stress, all of which contribute to a more receptive environment for conception.
