I grew up in a poor family in China. At age 5, I caught a contagious disease, which had a high death rate for people who couldn’t afford expensive medical care. Luckily, I didn’t die, but my eyesight, liver, and many other organs and body systems were damaged. Since then, I suffered from poor eyesight, constant headaches, nausea, anemia, low blood pressure, and many other discomforts.
The seemingly good luck of entering China’s top university was a double-edged sword, because I had to force my weak body to stand strong and survive in the highly competitive environment.
Later on, a lengthy & bloody divorce battle completely crushed me – more than half of my hair fell out and most of the remaining hair turned white. Severe insomnia, lower back pain, frequent & urgent urination, heart palpitation, tinnitus and hearing loss, floaters in the eyes, and more. All of these symptoms made me feel far older than I actually was. In fact, I felt like a sick, old woman even though I was still young.
Finally, in my early 40’s, my life began to turn around. I was accepted by a great Daoism, Qi Gong, and Classic Chinese Medicine (CCM) master as a student. The daily Qi meditation, Daoism practice, and Chinese herbs gradually healed my physical, emotional, and spiritual problems. I was amazed by the magical changes, so I gave up my professional job at a large oil company and whole-heartedly devoted to Chinese Medicine.
Now I am not just helping myself, but also helping others. For example, I’ve watched a 26‑year‑old woman go from being immobilized by anxiety and depression to becoming an active student who completed her studies, finished her co‑op placement, and stepped confidently into a bright future after a course of treatment with me. I’m also happy to have helped a 50‑year‑old woman with multiple sclerosis regain mobility and independence, eventually returning to meaningful contributions in her community.
Thanks to Chinese Medicine, I now have a happy & active life, and at the same time bring health & happiness to others.
